OK people, back to the REAL science that Al Gore REFUSES to debate!  I've got bad news for him: the sea ice isn't really melting even though we just had ten more news stories telling us it is in the last hour! Al gets really upset when I start using that EVIL real science again! The chart below, submitted by Dr. Roy Spencer, University of Alabama at Huntsville, former NASA scientist, shows that the sea ice has been extremely steady for the last 20 years.

Dr. Roy Spencer says  "I'm sure you've seen the WWF report about penguins on the Antarctic Peninsula in decline based on the fact that the sea ice is melting. 
Yet sea ice around Antarctic has been running one million square kilometers above normal for the past couple of months," and he has sent me the charts, and there's the chart. 
Sea ice is expanding in the Antarctic.  Greenland is not melting. 
None of the things that they say are actually happening. 
I don't even believe that the penguins are threatened. 

They make all this other stuff up, too, and the reason they do is to get to the hearts and minds of little kids.  "Mommy, mommy, the penguins are going extinct, and the polar bears.  Why are you and daddy doing to save them?"
That's how this stuff works.  You have the Al Gore mockumentary in schools that shows these polar bears running around, supposedly deserted and stranded on ice that is melting all around them and it's simply not true.
It's OBSCENE!  And, again, what allows it to succeed?  Ignorance.  Ignorance of the people is the most expensive thing we pay for in this country."

New data just in, December 2007:  A record setting pace of re-freezing of sea ice in November 2007, has been reported by the the NASA Earth Observatory. Some 58,000 square miles of ice formed per day for 10 days in late October and early November, a new world record. Earlier this year the Global Warming crowd said that the Northwest Passage was opening and that this was a sure sign of global warming. What they failed to tell you is that the passage open twice in the 20th century. Once when Roald Amundsen sailed it in 1906, and it opened again in 1944. Then the ice froze over passage the following years.

The thawing and the re freezing of the ice is NORMAL.  I find the most silly thing about this whole Global Warming hoax is that they are comparing this year to year data.  These envirowackos claim the Earth can tell us in ONE YEAR that it is in crisis. Then they dig out the last 100 year temperature records and say we are in the warmest period ever. Even 100 years is a minuscule slice of time in the history of the Earth.

But then it's discovered that the records were wrong, which they fail to publicize in the media.
Al Gore, the non scientist, acts like THEY KNOW FOR SURE, when the truth is they haven't a clue.

One of the funniest stories I saw recently, to which I lost the link to, was when a bunch of "scientists" went to the Arctic this year to study the "recent loss of sea ice".  Apparently the weather was so cold the scientists had to be rescued by airplane because their ship got caught in the frozen ice:)

"While the media raised alarms over Arctic ice  melt, they did not report that Antarctic winter sea ice extent was the greatest on record. A similar pattern of annual freeze and melt occurs in the ocean around the continent but it changes from a summer minimum of about 2 million square kilometers to a winter maximum of about 15 million square kilometers for a an annual change of some 13 million square kilometers." 

Of course, all this ice is in the water, so when it melts sea level doesn't change. So the ice is not disappearing. Annual melt and refreeze is large, and current situations are well within normal numbers. The fuss over the ice works because people don't know. But in case lack of knowledge doesn't work an emotional and guilt trip will persuade the rest, or at least isolate them as uncaring.

As Derek Bok said, “If you think education is expensive - try ignorance.” Ignorance allows presentation of natural events as unnatural or normal events as abnormal.

Dr. Roy Spencer, the former NASA scientist, is displaying the latest globally averaged satellite temperatures, and it shows that the globally average temperature of the planet has NOT warmed in the last six years, and it is still well below 1998, which was the most recent hottest year, and that was an El Niño year.  Right now, we are below even the temperatures of 2002, and the levels of warming are actually decreasing at this point on this graph.

The graph also contains a little red shaded arrow with an arrow pointing left to right showing 
Al Gore's Armageddon, acorrding to him, that if global temperatures reach this red shaded area, then we're cooked, we're doomed, we're done. and you can see how far beneath it that we are; and you can see how, since 1998, six years ago, that the global temperatures have NOT warmed. 

So should we believe the noted climatologist Dr. Roy Spencer or the FAILED POLITICIANAl Gore who's "science" is based on faulty data?

OK people, we blew it. We didn't listen to the warning,  WE'RE DOOMED! That's right, a new report now says that ALL of the Arctic ice will be GONE by 2012!  That's just a few years away! They say that the Arctic is SCREAMING!!!  Funny, I didn't hear anything, did you? But then they said "We have not passed a point of no return"

So they are concluding that ALL the summer Arctic ice will be gone in about 4 years but if we all do the "right thing" now we can save the planet in that time?!!! 

I'm not sure if these people are idiots, or they think we are for believing in this bull.  But I suspect is a bit of both.  Gee, maybe what they meant to say is that if we all stop believing in this nonsense their JOBS could be gone by 2012 because the funding would stop!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, the penguins will be gone too! Such cute little guys!   Just look at their sad little faces! We HAVE to save them! Antarctica's penguins threatened by global warming I'm going to sell my sports car today and and walk to work so I don't pollute anymore!  That will fix EVERYTHING!

But wait!  I just found out that walking causes more pollution than driving! Walking does more than driving to cause global warming! I have to stop exercising because it causes Global Warming too!

Let me think, I'm going to have to give up my job, give up my car, and sit in a mud hole, and starve to death so I don't hurt the planet! Then that vulture can eat me.  But wait, he'll poop and create more methane and greenhouse gasses!  But that's OK because he's a NATURAL creature of the Earth, I'm simply a man, an INTRUDER on the planet!  That's the way the Envirowackos really feel about man. Listen folks, I'm not making fun of this starving child.  I actually donate a good deal of money to African and American poverty relief.

I support causes that actually do something real, like putting food into children's bellies.  I'm not going to support a stupid cause like Global Warming which does nothing but create MORE poverty.

And besides, the more we use food and water to make stupid things like Ethanol, the more we actually SPREAD starvation around the world.

You get the point I'm making.  These radical environmental alarmists will say ANYTHING to get you to believe in Global Warming, ANYTHING! And we ain't gonna buy this nonsense anymore, are we?

While he flies gas guzzling private jets to all his events, and uses more than 20 times the electricity than most Americans, he also sells himself useless "Carbon Offsets", through a company he owns!   What a crock of shit!
